All about Henry...
I was born on September 4th, 2007 in the DFW metroplex. Soon after, a crazy lady saw me and told my human about the adorable puppy she had seen. The rest is history.
I came to my new home in October of 2007. I was named Henry Poco by my human. She named me after two very special dogs she has known, the first being Handsome Hank. Hank was a cowdog and buddy to my human's friend and he was very smart ... or so I'm told. I never met Hank but if my human named me after him, he must have been quite special indeed. There's only one rule: you must never call me Hank. You can call me Henry, thank you very much. My human says that's the way it should be, so I abide by that rule.
Poco was a chihuahua that my human had when she was a child. My human says she probably cursed me by giving me his name but she did it anyway. He sounds like he was a pretty cool dude - he barked a lot, growled a lot, peed on some awesome stuff... I want to be just like him when I grow up. My human says that is not allowed.
So now you know about my name. Let's move on to more information about me. I am a chocolate and tan chihuahua. I have white paws. I'm amazingly cute but ladies, don't get excited. I am gay.
I am a graduate of the Lee Mannix Center for Canine Behavior (or LMCCB). Don't let the title fool you - I rarely listen to anyone other than myself. In fact, I'm planning on taking over LMCCB and renaming it "Henry's Center for Human Reconditioning." I am currently enrolled in Small Dog Agility classes but hope to pass the Canine Good Citizen test very soon and become a therapy dog for Divine Canines. It's what Mr. Lee wanted me to do, so I am going to do it in memory of him.
I have one sister, OmaKitty, who will be introduced to you once her website it up and running. She is the boss of the house (or so she thinks) and the human is very fond of her. She is 14 years old and quite cranky.
I have a brother, Cooper, who will be 8 years old this year. He's quite a crank, too. He thinks he's super special because he graduated from LMCCB too. He's a trained therapy dog but didn't like doing it so now he doesn't do much except lay around the house. My human says he's going to take small dog agility but I doubt he will be as awesome as I am.
My human is OK. She gives me loads of yummy treats and stuff. We go lots of places together and do lots of fun things.
The kitty is coming... I need to go but I'll update my bio soon!!
